Masterminds Daycare is proud to offer Creative Calm Wednesdays, a specialized 8-week enrichment program designed to support the learning, creativity, and social growth of children with autism. This program provides a nurturing, structured environment that encourages children to explore hands-on activities while building important developmental skills.
What the Program Includes
Each Wednesday evening, children participate in a blend of calm, engaging, and interactive activities, including:
🎨 Arts & Crafts
Children use paint, sponges, rollers, and a variety of Crayola materials to express creativity, strengthen fine motor skills, and explore sensory experiences in a safe and enjoyable way.
🧱 Building Play (LEGOs & Blocks)
Building activities help children develop problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, imagination, and confidence. Children can work independently or collaborate with peers based on their comfort level.
🎲 Board Games
Structured board game time supports turn-taking, following directions, communication, and social interaction—key areas that benefit children with autism.
