Danielle Wright brings more than 40 years of experience in childcare and youth services to Masterminds Daycare. She has served as both a daycare group supervisor and a mental health worker, giving her a unique depth of knowledge in supporting children’s growth and development.
A graduate of the Community College of Philadelphia, Danielle combines her education with decades of hands-on expertise to provide compassionate, attentive, and professional care. Her experience and commitment make her a trusted leader within our team and a strong advocate for the children and families she serves.
Yvonne McGhee
Yvonne McGhee brings more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education to Masterminds Daycare. A graduate of William Penn High School in Philadelphia, she went on to attend Cheyney University, where she continued to build her knowledge and passion for working with children.
Throughout her career, Yvonne has dedicated herself to providing high-quality care, nurturing guidance, and educational support to generations of young learners. Her depth of experience and lifelong commitment to children make her a valued leader and mentor within our team.
McKenzie Ryan
McKenzie Ryan has been part of the Masterminds Daycare team since 2022. She brings several years of childcare experience, having worked at other local daycare centers before joining us. A graduate of Roxborough High School and a lifelong resident of the Roxborough community, McKenzie combines her professional skills with a strong connection to the neighborhood.
Her warm personality, dedication, and passion for early childhood education make her an integral part of our team and a trusted caregiver for the children and families we serve.
Nina Wunder, Manager
Nina Wunder is a dedicated childcare professional and proud Roxborough resident. A graduate of Roxborough High School, Nina brings over four years of experience working with young children in nurturing, play-based environments. In addition to her childcare background, Nina has also worked in the hospitality industry, where she developed exceptional customer service skills that enhance her daily interactions with children and families. Her warm personality, professionalism, and community roots make her an invaluable member of the Masterminds Daycare team. Nina is passionate about helping every child grow into an independent, curious, and confident learner.
James Williams, Owner
James Williams co-founded Masterminds Daycare with his late wife, Sheena Williams, with the vision of creating a warm, boutique-style environment inspired by the traditional one-room schoolhouse model—an enduring symbol of foundational education in America.
From 1999 to 2009, James served as a full-time Therapeutic Support Staff, working one-on-one with children facing behavioral challenges and those on the autism spectrum.
His deep commitment to youth development continued during his tenure as Director of Institutional Advancement at Bishop McDevitt High School (2017–2021), where he oversaw school operations and led successful fundraising initiatives.
He holds a degree in history from Cabrini College and brings a passion for education, athletics, and community service to everything he does.
